Please join Positive Community Connections as we host our First Annual Wine and Cheese Art Auction in Hampton Bays. This signature fundraising event will showcase original artwork created by our members while bringing together local business leaders, families, and community supporters for an afternoon of connection and celebration. 

Come enjoy a paint and sip, sample local wines, artisanal cheeses, raffles, and a live auction — all in support of empowering adults in self-direction with developmental disabilities across Long Island.

Speed-friending is officially fun!

PCC is proud to host official Speed-friending game nights!  

This structured game provides the support participants need to comfortably foster social connections and make lasting friends. It's a lively, pressure free, way for people to meet and get to know others. 

We are so excited to share our lives, likes, stories and interests with all our new friends!

Get JiGgy With It: A Night Full of Luck, Lights, and Dancefloor Magic

Who says the St. Patrick’s Day fun has to end on March 17th? At PCC’s Get JiGgy With It Dance, we kept the lucky vibes going strong—decked out in green and ready to celebrate!

Members of PCC's GLEE and Nassau Voice initiatives took center court for the second year in a row to sing the National Anthem for the LI Island Nets!!!  Mother Nature got in our way the first time, but luckily the second time around there were no snowflakes in sight!  Our singers sang beautifully and with enthusiasm.  All of their hard work and practicing really paid off and added such a special touch to the evening.  A HUGE PCC shoutout to our leaders that practiced and guided our members to

PCC went to Hicks Nurseries annual flower show, and was it a sight to see!!!!  The whole nursery transformed into a sea of beautiful flower displays based off of some of our favorite childhood games.  Hungry, Hungry Hippo, Candyland, and Life (and so many more!) came to life with some of the most colorful exotic flowers.  We enjoyed walking around and taking it all in.  We even participated in a scavenger hunt! It was a beautiful way to celebrate the start of spring! 

PCC members recently gathered at Fox Dog Yoga Studio in East Islip for one of our most adorable meetups yet—Puppy Yoga. The studio started out warm, calm, and serene as everyone rolled out their mats and prepared for class. But once the puppies arrived, the energy in the room changed instantly.
