The PCC crew hit the streets of Riverhead for the Alive on 25 Street Fair—and what a night it was! With summer vibes in full swing, our members dove into a world of vibrant vendors, mouthwatering food trucks, and nonstop entertainment.

Our PCC crew packed in the fun with two unforgettable nights of music, community, and pure summer vibes!

PCC members brought their skills and sportsmanship to our Outdoor Game Night, in full force! It was a battle of skill and concentration while playing Bucketball. Members went bucket for bucket in an exciting game. Shout out to Chelsea for making the winning shot! We also got to learn how to play some new games and bring back some classics. It was a beautiful and fun summer's night!

PCC Members Connect with Nature at Holtsville Ecology Center Meetup

PCC members came together for a heartwarming and educational meetup at the Holtsville Ecology Center, where they spent the day surrounded by nature—and a few adorable animal ambassadors.

We went way back in presidential history with this meetup.  PCC had the oportunity to go on a guided tour of Sagamore Hill! We learned so much about the history of the house and President Teddy Roosevelt. Park Ranger Bethany impressed us with her knowledge of our past president and his home. Did you know that his home in Oyster Bay was the Roosevelt’s summer home? It’s where they spent their summers when the City became unbearable and hot. Who knew?!! It was one historical meetup!

What a BEAUTIFUL evening for a walk on the Long Beach Boardwalk and for some ice cream! PCC members had a great time chatting, strolling, and taking in the start of some nice summer weather. We walked what didn’t feel like two miles because we were all getting to know each other. We then rewarded ourselves with ice cream from Marvel- the only part of the meetup not pictured because it was that delicious! PCC is looking forward to the fantastic summer that lies ahead.

Group Pic Annual Meeting

This year’s PCC Annual Meeting was nothing short of amazing! Members, families, and friends came together to celebrate all the impactful work we accomplished in 2024—and got a sneak peek at everything exciting coming in 2025.

After the updates, the real fun kicked in with viral game challenges like the water bottle toss, cotton ball pick-up, and the shimmy!

Laughter echoed, smiles lit up the room, and connections were made that we’ll never forget.

PCC took over ROUND 1...AGAIN! Members played big and won big while playing a variety of games. From playing Mario Kart to testing out the new virtual reality games, everyone had entered the world of gaming and given the opportunity to escape reality! PCC also took over the microphones and karaoke booths. We had our members and friends singing along and dancing to everything from The Killers to Miley Cyrus to end what was a very fun evening.

PCC Raises Over $4,000 in Support of Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities!

We’re thrilled to share some incredible news—Positive Community Connections (PCC) has successfully raised over $4,000 through our recent Luv Michael fundraising campaign! This accomplishment is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.

African Dance Rhythm Brings the Beat to PCC’s Big Time Glee Initiative

Positive Community Connection (PCC) was thrilled to welcome African Dance Rhythm for an unforgettable drumming workshop during our Big Time Glee initiative. The energy was electric as our members got caught up in the rhythm—hands drumming in sync, feet moving to the beat, and hearts opening to the vibrant sounds of West Africa.
